Women’s Philanthropy Initiative
 The Women’s Philanthropy Initiative (WPI) was established by the Women’s Fund to serve donors who wish to leverage their charitable giving by donating through the Women’s Fund, rather than making an individual contribution. Gifts through the WPI must be $1,000 or more per designated organization. Appropriateness of these grants are reviewed by the Executive Director of the Women’s Fund and the Program Officer of the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts. These gifts are not subject to review by the grant-making committee, but must fall within the strategic framework of the Women’s Fund, that is:
- Must increase the level of resources dedicated to women and girls in our region, and/or
- Must foster social change that transforms the lives of women and girls in our communities, and/or
- Increase awareness of the power of women’s philanthropy.
A fee waiver is available to existing donors for all WPI transactions.
