What time should I arrive?

Registration and breakfast begins at 8:00 A.M. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early because there is no directly adjacent parking to Woodland Commons so you will be asked to ride the shuttle.

Where should I park?

All parking for the event is in Parking Lot 7. As you travel south on Ring Road, it will be on your right-hand side.

Once you have parked your car, please make your way to the shuttle stop in the middle of the parking lot.

A shuttle is coming every 10 few minutes to shuttle you to Woodland Commons. Between 7:45 and 9:00 A.M. the shuttle will be running more frequently.

Depending upon traffic, you may need to wait up to 10 minutes outdoors with limited shelter. Please be prepared for if there is a wait.

Handicap parking

The event is ADA accessible with no stairs at the event. People who may need extra time to get situated should arrive 10 minutes early. Guests can be dropped off at the Woodland Commons shuttle stop, but there is no adjacent parking to the building. UMass Dartmouth has ADA shuttles available, so please let us know in advance when you will be arriving so we can make sure it is available for your arrival. Please be aware that there may be some waiting outdoors up to 10 minutes with limited shelter.

What is for breakfast?

The breakfast is continental. There will be light pastries, coffee, tea, and fruit.

Food Allergies

Please let us know if you have a food allergy. We will do our best to have alternatives available.

What should I wear?

The event is business casual but there is no dress code. Depending upon the weather, the room may be too warm or too cold for your personal preference, so you may want to bring a sweater. Because the event has a shuttle, you may also be waiting outside for up to 10 minutes. There will be a coat rack at the event, so feel free to wear an outdoor layer to the event and be prepared to walk or stand for a short time.

What should I bring?

Please bring a smile! You may also want to bring a pen, a professional name tag, and business cards. There will be time for breakfast networking before the event begins.
