SOCIAL CHANGE INVESTMENTS 

The Women’s Fund raises funds annually to dedicate to initiatives that move forward our mission. Currently, the focus is on the Economic Blueprint for Women and most of the Women’s Fund’s resources will go to continue the LifeWork Project, one of the Blueprint priorities. In addition, the Women’s Fund has a smaller Action Fund, which our leadership and the Social Change Investment Committee oversee.

 

In 2016, the Women’s Fund will dedicate most of the Action Funds to hire a contractor to coordinate phase 2 of the Task Force on Pathways for Women to a Living Wage and its Working Groups. We will not have a typical RFP process. This year, the newly-renamed Social Change Investment Committee will also plan how to align Action Fund resources with Blueprint priorities in addition to LifeWork  ...

The Women’s Fund advances economic security for women and girls in Southeastern MA, promoting equity across race, ethnicity, class, sexuality, gender identity and country of origin.  We build partnerships and use our voice, advocacy, and grantmaking to foster a more just region.
